Again, I swear I’m not Eugene Tackleberry.
I’m just curious. It can be your EDC and/or duty weapon(s).
As always, than y’all for keeping the scene safe.

S&W 442 so far. Been carrying it for 12 or 13 years now.
My grails: Laugo Alien, Opusarms, Stacatto
Even though it’s not the most practical, I love my 1911
Not a duty weapon, but I carried my S&W Model 59 for a while. Great gun if you have large hands. Now I carry a CSX E-Series for the convenience, and because it’s about as close as I can get to a Model 59 without being an enormous antique. Only duty weapon I’ve carried has been the G17, and I don’t really care for Glocks. Prior to the G17 my department issued modified Model 10’s, and I’d honestly take one of those over the Glock for personal use, but I can still see how the Glock outclasses the Model 10 in most every way.
I’m in love with my Walther PDP pro
No love for wheel guns? .357 for me
EDC: the tried and true Glock + optic + light
G19 Gen 5.
Jagerworks extended and raised slide release
Acro P2
Agency Arms trigger
X300u light
Love my Glock 19x. Perfectly balance of capacity and ergonomics and concealment I think. I got mine like 2 months before the MOS version was announced so I was sad to miss that but irons are nice too.
I really love my HKs (USP Expert, HK45, P30Ls, P2000, etc.)
Not a cop. But a dispatcher.
The 365 platform for sure. X macro specifically.
320 X5 legion is phenomenal
Been carrying a Glock 45 my whole career. It’s not my favorite but it gets the job done. I much prefer my S&W MP2.0. And my CCW Sig P365XMacro. I also have a soft spot for CZ.
CZ Shadow 2. Easily
While I like many to me a firearms is like also being a car enthusiast. For carry Glock. Post retirement i alternate between my Glock 45 and 43. But I have high end ones I occasionally bring out and shoot. So, for me my Glocks are like my pick up. Daily driver and use all the time. The others like a sports car or collectable. Occasionally bring out and enjoy.
I have a Gen 5 Glock 17 w/x300 and an RMR for my duty gun. I purchased a Glock 45 with an RMR for off duty. Once I became a Detective and found myself wearing plainclothes all the time, I pretty much always carry my duty gun even off duty. I make it dissappear with a good AIWB holster, even in a t-shirt.
I like Glocks a lot. They are unpretentious and reliable. For a question like this you will get a million different answers and they all come down to opinion. All the major manufacturers make good reliable stuff that is adequate for duty use.
Any love for the Glock 19x?
Gen 2 Glock 19
Smith and Wesson 500
Hard to pick just one…
My Staccato P goes hard for OWB off-duty use.
My CZ shadow 2 compact is immaculate for IWB off-duty use.
I have stupid expensive taste considering my duty weapon is an M&P 2.0 fullsize
Glock 19 gen 2.
I’m glad you put the (s) in there!
I love my Sig P220, P226, P229 pistols and their variants. Also my Sig P938 is so nice to carry and shoots very well fast and at longer ranges. Colt challenger, Huntsman and Targetsman 22 pistols. My Ruger GP-100 357s, and my CZ 75 SP01 tactical.
I could probably add a few more to this list but these are what popped up immediately.
M&P 2.0
The hi power is up there, also the 226. Never been a fan of polymer frames. But I’ll give credit where it’s due, in 14 years of LE, I cannot remember a single malfunction from a Glock, which is what both agencies I’ve worked for use. This through many, many thousands of rounds.
Wilson combat experior
P320 M18 or M&P 2.0. Glock is always the standard answer but both of the ones I listed are fine and nice guns
Sig sauer p220
I carry a Staccato XC on duty and I am in love with it.
Beretta 92 series
Glock 17, CZ “pcr” … my favorite full size and compact when it comes to shooting and not looks.
While I no longer duty carry it, I’ll always love my HK VP9
My Staccato C. Because I better love it after the cash I dropped on it. In all honesty, it’s just such a good feeling platform to shoot/hold.
HK VP9 and HK P30L
320 X5
Glock 34 Gen 3 has never given me an issue in over 13 years.
I was carrying a G19 for a different gig, and so I went well over a year without cleaning nor lubing my 34, but taking it to the range closed ranges, open, desert, dusty, etc. Had my first stove pipe in the hills/desert ever.
I hear the staccato guys stressing when there is a sprinkle or light drizzle because they’re going to have to detail clean their pistols. All the glocks need is a slide rail wipe and some oil.
