What’s your story of a woman reacting badly to being rejected?

    Thought I’d share mine:

About three months ago, I (M21) met a woman (F42) on a dating app. I’m currently in a phase of my life where I just want to have fun, and I tend to be attracted to older women. We ended up meeting fairly quickly at my place for a first (platonic) hangout, and we really hit it off. She was fun, she found me attractive and said she was really interested in being FwB. She also mentioned that she had just come out of long-term relationships and wasn’t looking to settle down with one person for the time being.

For about two weeks, she didn’t give me much news, and then out of the blue, she told me that she had found an “exclusive sex friend”, but that she still wanted to stay in touch with me. I wasn’t too comfortable with the idea of being a backup option, so I kindly let her know that it didn’t really sit well with me.

That’s when things took a surprising turn, she suddenly backtracked and claimed that she had never wanted anything ongoing or resembling a FwB relationship in the first place, even when I tried to expose the fact that her messages contradicted themselves. A pure gaslighting attempt. I was honestly quite stunned and disappointed by that kind of behavior, especially coming from someone her age. Haven’t heard from her since. She still follows me on Instagram, even though I unfollowed her a long time ago, so who knows what she’s up to now.

That’s pretty tame, though. Nothing violent or too bad, but yeah. Still doesn’t really get it.

All of a sudden I am gay, if I don’t want them.

I told a GF that I refused to get married. She broke up, and had sex with my best friend.

Started spreading rumours that I was gay. Eventually she started trying to make people think I was sexist too

    “You must be gay”

I have a friend where a woman he rejected started stalking him at his house and workplace. Just randomly turning up there unannounced. He got a restraining order against her for it.

She can’t really stalk him now even if no restraining order was in play because his in a happy relationship with another woman where his travelling the world with her.

For me… a woman I knew since we were kids and was friends with completely cut me out of her life just because I rejected her on a night out after she randomly blurted out in middle of a conversation to me “Be my boyfriend” and didn’t get the answer she was hoping for. After that, she got all quiet and closed off. Left early looking pissed off and blocked me on everything…. I knew this person since the age of 7. One of the first people I met when i moved down the area I currently live at in 2001

Wait, you were in a position to have a woman reject you? My experience was always the other way around

I turned down sex 3 times in one month. Guess she was entertaining some guy at the same time and it motivated her to sleep with him the next day the first time and I can remember if it was the second or 3rd time but she went in the bathroom and recorded herself masturbating in the shower and sent it to him.

First time I’d ever turned down sex in 10 years of marriage. I was on a new antidepressant that was causing side effects. And one of the 3 times I had food poisoning.

I was friends with the really hot girl back in high school and when I refused to give her a donut because she was teasing me about something earlier she actually got mad and started swearing at me calling me a bitch and shit. I was like “holy shit, take a donut if it means that much to you, god damn.” I guess she didn’t get told “No” a lot in her life lol

I rejected my ex-wife when she tried to convince me to have an affair with her and cheat on my wife. She proceeded to spend the next month spinning a series of tales on social media telling everyone that she and I had been sleeping together for months, and that I was a “cheating bastard” who just liked to use women for sex. She eventually gave up after realizing that absolutely nobody believed her. People knew me. People knew her. They knew who to believe.

She’s dead now, so no worries about that happening again. Don’t do meth, kids!

    Does that count?

She filed bunches of complaints against me with HR. Unprofessional behavior, hostile work environment, inappropriate remarks, blah blah blah. None of it ever happened but who cares?

So, to simplify matters, HR just fired me.

    Women don’t handle rejection well.

It Wasnt even me rejecting her my friend turned her down, but she liked him too much to get mad at him so she spazzed out on me and smacked ME after He turned her down. He apologized on her behalf, but that doesnt unsmack me in the face.

Yep – add me to the “spread rumors that I’m gay” list because that’s what she did.

    Not that I cared.

I’ve been yelled at across the room that I was gay. I’ve been slapped. I’ve been told she’s too good for me anyway, and I’ve been told I not a real man.

Had a woman try to break my nose by headbutting me after I turned her down.

In my mid 20s, I was sitting in a pub having a quiet drink at about 5 in the afternoon when a woman in her late 50s/early 60s walked up and grabbed my groin. I stood up and said “Excuse me, can you not touch me please” so she broke a half-pint class across my face.

Turning down women has gotten me called slurs, yelled at, had the size of my dick insulted, my drink poured out, and even physical violence.

  22. LimpAd5888 Avatar

Mines fairly tame. She called me a stuck up asshole and left

Had a friend I met through work years ago. We were both seeing someone, but there always seemed to be something between us. What I can only describe as natural chemistry. About a year later we were both single. She would text me frequently, we’d chat, and I’d attempt to make plans with her. She’d always agree; but then she had some family issues and she went silent for a bit. I thought, okay no problem. It’s not the right time. A month later, she’d hit me up again, flirty texts, sometimes we’d even talk a little dirty over text. I attempt to set up a hang out, and she flakes the day of, right around the time we’re supposed to meet up for a drink. Okay, well, I get the hint.

Fast forward a few weeks and she hits me up, asks me to come over, I politely decline, saying I got the message already, and I’m happy to remain friends, etc. she then apologizes and says she’ll think of some creative and fun way to make it up to me “;)”

I had kind of been enjoying my space and time to myself, so I just decided to not bother at this point. She was pissed. She sent me threats, called me a very derogatory term for gay referring to a cigarette, I’m sure some can guess. She told me to fuck myself, etc. after a few texts, I left her on read, and was just flabbergasted by her attitude.

I’d never have imagined she would or could react that way. I love to give people the benefit of the doubt, so I assumed she must be under some stress. I decided to give her some time, and messaged her back a few days later. I apologized for rejecting her, and explained that I tried to set things up with her a few times, but they’d fallen through, so I was gonna leave it at that. She didn’t respond for a few days. She then sends me a voice chat which sounds like two people fucking, and very clearly I can make out her voice, and uh…enjoyment.

    I blocked her on everything.

Not me but a co-worker. He still has PTSD from elevators.

He was only black guard we had on night shift and this fateful day he was posted at the elevator lobby (casino/hotel/resort) a very intoxicated older white lady stumbled onto him could not produce her room key at first then dropped it.

He broke protocol by not asking for coverage and one more. Never escort woman by themselves. I am assuming because of age he felt confident.

The minute the elevator door closed she tried to kiss him and started trying to get his shirt off. He tried calling for help but she ripped his mic off so it cut off. All we got on radio was “Ocean 40 help!” (Managers callsign)

You hear frantic calls for his location with no answer. Dispatch advised “last known post was Hotel Lobby”.

Everyone converges since a few weeks before this ruvsl gangs fought in that same area and one guard had been hurt.

We hear dispatch laughing “All units … he’s … he’s in the elevator. It looks like she pushed all the buttons currently on 5”.

She apparently was incensed he turned her down and was trying to disrobe him and yelling at him.”don’t lead me on and try to act professional now boy”.

My manager met her a few floors up as the elevator was stopping on each floor and she ended up arrested. Husband ended up being briefly detained when he found out and tried accusing the guard of assaulting her.

He refused to get into the elevator after that.
