I’ve searched for this off and on for years and found nothing. I would have been around 5 years old so I’m guessing 1979-81ish. I saw episodes of a short interstitial cartoon series of what I recall being a super cat and generic Superman character. It would have been on some cable/satellite network during the morning, in between regular programming. I think they were sitting in a cop car drinking coffee. I have some recollection that coffee was important or thematic to them but can’t be sure. What really struck me back then as a little kid was it was the first time I encountered profanity in a cartoon. While in the car, the cat asked the guy “why are you pissed off?” Back then it just seemed impossible to five year(ish) old me that a “bad word” could be in a cartoon. I can’t be sure but I am recalling the animation style having the wiggly lines around characters, like Home Movies. At any rate, hopefully this is an easy one for someone. I’d love to see this again to possibly appreciate it as an adult. Thanks!

Just to clarify, I recall seeing several short episodes over separate days. The only scene I remember with any specific information was the car scene I mentioned.
