So I’ve apparently misplaced my entire registration and the sticker somehow. Do you guys actually look at the sticker or just check the plate # and see if it’s valid? Would you pull someone over for only an out of date sticker? I’m hoping I can just make it to next year since I hate dealing with just about any kind of bureaucracy lol

50/50. If it’s right in front of me and obviously outdated, I’ll just do a quick traffic stop, verify the driver and vehicle are otherwise good, and go about my way.
For whatever reason, my state adores using year tabs that somehow look different colors under the right light. If I’m unsure, I’ll run it and see just how colorblind I am.
Back when we had stickers (govt eliminated them years ago), I’d look and stop just to verify. Usually ppl just forget to put them on. I rarely wrote for exp reg. I’d just tell the guy to hit the registry and get it updated.
Our state has color coded stickers so pretty easy to tell if you are expired and easy reason to pull someone over when fishing.
Honestly you are more likely to get a parking ticket from parking enforcement.
