Keurig K-Cups are Superior to Nespresso Pods

r/

The conventional wisdom is that Nespresso pods are superior to K-Cups because I guess espresso is considered more fancy or pure. But, every time I brew a Nespresso pod I get a tiny little cup of coffee that tastes the same. K-Cups taste better and have more variety.

Nespresso pods aren’t espresso either way, being ground, dosed and pressured differently and using non-espresso extraction ratios.

So the reasoning is flawed. Everything beyond that is your personal preference.

D-cups are the only cups that matters.

both are inferior to grinding your own beans every morning….then making your own coffee;)

Yeah I love the taste of freshly leached plastic in my coffee. K-Cups are great for that

I disagree. The taste from our Nespresso machine is significantly better than the k-cups. I gave the drip/kcup machine away.

Now I’m down to grinder/french press for weekends. And Nespresso for the workweek.

You can also get Alto pods to get more coffee if you want.

The best coffee is freshly ground with a french press though.

They’re both bad. You’re splitting hairs about what kind of garbage water is better.
