Hi all.
Grew up in NM my entire life on a reservation. Never had running water, electricity, and my closest school was 40 miles away. My family had livestock and I grew up practicing my traditional ways of knowing. Did what I needed to do to get into a good college, and now I have an Ivy League STEM degree AMA

Where do you currently live and what do you do for a living?
What is your opinion, if any, on the Seinfeld episode about the Cigar Store Indian?
What was the hardest challenge to face with getting to an ivy league school?
Fuck ya! Congratulations. Do you have a tribal name? My suggestion is Mademoneyfromstudy.
How did you adapt from the rez to being surrounded by what I assume are elitist twats? In other words, do you struggle with feeling like its hard to socialize with a different economic class? Do you deal with passive aggressive behaviour for being from more humble beginnings
Do you have a favorite mushroom? (To eat, or just to look at?)
Would you ever live on the reservation again?
Any skinwalker stories?
How did you know which steps to take towards that goal?
Do you want to leave America?
Do you still visit the rez and do you practice the same spiritually as you grew up with?
Ever seen any UFOs ?
Is there any resentment from your family/friends you grew up with who were potentially not as capable or fortunate as you?
What do you hope to accomplish in the future, both personally and in relation to your community?
Was it dartmouth
Dartmouth? Go Big Green! (class of 91). Also I live in Magdalena, NM. Any chance you’re from Alamo?
What was the most mundane/shocking adjustment between the two places?
