I run one of the biggest essay-writing services in the world, Killer Papers. I employ over 60 writers, and we have stayed strong even with ChatGPT coming onto the scene. We’ve helped over 10,000 students with essays, PowerPoints, and basically any other project you can think of in our seven years of business. Most of our customers are American college students.

What’s the weirdest/craziest thing you ever were asked to write about?
Do you ever feel any sort of way being in such a grey ethical area?
Asking for a friend, do you help students in University in Spain? Annnddd this guy has a masters in creative writing 😉 wink wink
How do you feel about this work, ethically?
How do you handle professors questioning whether a student wrote a paper themselves? How should students handle questions like that?
Well… since you already mentioned: how are LLMs impacting your job? Has your business decreased?
How do you deal with those kids that come back with sour grapes?
Do you feel like you are setting people up for failure in their real world jobs?
how does your pricing work, is it based on the complexity of the essay?
You said in a different answer that AI didn’t impact your work as much as one would expect, however it did have an impact… Since it is still getting better and better, are you worried that it might get to a point in the near future where it completely steals your business?
It’s just cheating. You should stop. It’s not only dishonest and wrong (and you know it), but it’s taking away the opportunity for the students who pay you to learn and grow. It’s a classic lose lose situation.
You should be ashamed of your ‘business’.
So how does this work? One of your writers has to read the material, do the research and then create the paper. I guess if you’re good at doing that stuff this is no challenge whatsoever. Where do your staff usually come from? Obviously they like to read and write but can you tell us more about your staff?
I have done this for years to pay rent. Ended up doing a dude’s Oxford dissertation and got a high mark. You hiring? I have 17 years of experience.
Are you hiring?
How do I know your essays are not written by AI?
What do you do when students require essays regarding particular books and the little nuances of something in that book ? Like, requires your staff to read the book almost doesnt it ? Or do you get alot of duplicate requests ?
Do you Taylor the writing to the student?
Why are you advertising your service on other Reddit posts as though you are a customer instead of the CEO or whatever your title is? Don’t you think that’s dishonest?
how much of your customer base came from guerilla marketing on instagram in 2016-2020? KP meme page was peak then
I am getting my master’s in English this spring. You folks hiring?
Are you hiring? Is there any way one could apply?
Also is it relatively easy to spot ai/gpt write ups due to your type of work?

How’s the compensation for being one of your writers? What are expected qualifications for one?

What inspired the creation of Killer Papers?
Do the employees have their own specialties or in-depth knowledge of a certain field? It seems like that team of people would be extremely smart. How many of them have their doctorates?
Are there certain subjects you won’t touch? I.e. subjects where the student graduating is likely to go into an industry or role where they could impact people’s health or wealth?
Any jobs?
Are you hiring?
Thanks for the advice! SEO is search engine work, right?
What’s the average price of an essay?
Your job and your various justifications of it seem to be the personification of Upton Sinclair’s “It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it.”
Bro your biz is cooked. No way you guys will survive another year.
I’m going to put a scenario in front of you and ask you what you think of it. An ESL student comes in asking for an A+ paper that she could never have possibly written due to her incapacity with English. What do you do? Similarly, an obviously C- student comes in demanding an A+ paper and is none too nice about it. What do you do? What if they get called on the carpet about those?
Last question, have you written Master’s theses or doctoral dissertations?
Sooo… between services like yours and ChatGPT, how do you address the criticism that you are contributing to the decline of the abilities of students to read, write, research, and in general do their own work?
I have known many professors, lecturers, teachers, and even students who complain of rampant academic dishonesty by students passing off work done primarily by writing services or AI as their own. I anticipate that you would argue, “we are merely providing a tool and are not responsible for how people use or abuse it,” or that there are good ways people use your service to truly aid in their writing better papers rather than doing the work for them.
The simple fact is, though, that a tool or service is prone to misuse in certain ways, and a service like yours, I expect, gets a large chunk of its revenue from students too lazy or incapable of doing their own work. Given that reality and knowing your likely counter-arguments, can you honestly justify your service as being a net positive for actual learning and academic integrity?
Do you have any ethical qualms surrounding the unequal access to your service (and thus, presumably, a lower chance of getting hugger grades) based on the ability to pay for it (or, I suppose, more generally, with paid services which result in higher grades)?
Were you an academic achiever and discovered your gift of writing in grade school? Did you attend an Ivy?
Have a college aged daughter. Do you recommend any books or sites that help with essay writing?
Where is your favorite place to vacation?
Thanks for help keeping people ignorant. It’s going great.
How would you feel being seen/diagnosed by a doctor who has never had the experience of researching anything properly? (Reading published studies etc.)
How would you feel if that same type of doctor saw your loved one? What if they were very sick with a mysterious illness that required a hard working, established researching specialist to help them? Would you hope that they actually did their schoolwork?
What is your opinion on work ethic? How do you define it? Do you think it’s even necessary?
What is your opinion on the phrase “building character”? If you believe it holds value, do you think that paying for someone to do your work negatively impacts your character?
I know these questions seem combative, but I’m just very curious to get your view on them.
How do you handle if a professor demands and in person meeting with the student over academic dishonesty. You said you will respond to any emails if it escalates. Well every professor I knew and know to this day calls students to their office to plead their case. I know 3 professors in my immediate circle and this is the go to.
If a student can’t stand on their own during this and the grade gets revoked do you refund?
