I’m learning Spanish and I’m looking for ways to improve. I would love to hear your recommendations. It could be literally anything, science, folklore or fantasy, culture, biographies, folklore, history, you name it.
My side hustle is teaching Wilderness Skills and as much as a white guy respectfully can, I would say I teach tribal skills and Bushcraft. I can almost always find a way to link any topic to nature and I hope to one day be able to teach classes for La Raza entirely in Spanish.

My faves are “Así Como Suena” (human interest stories covering a wide range of subject matter, e.g. politics, crime, culture, etc). And “El Podcast de Alex Fernández.” The latter is by a Mexican comedian and incorporates quite a bit of regional slang which, while certainly very funny to a native speaker, a lot of what he says may be lost otherwise.
Fugas, el plan perfecto no existe
“No es el fin del mundo”, it’s about geopolítics.
Not the most high-brow stuff but I think El PachiPodcast, by two Guatemalan comedians. Again not something for education but it is good for laughing your ass off and if you want to learn how Guatemalans speak.
I’m not much of a usual podcast listener but I like Leyendas Legendarias with their spooky stories. There was also another podcast I enjoyed called El Corito Histórico they covered Venezuelan history on a humorous way but they stopped making more episodes.
Historia para tontos is reliably funny and informative
