They are funded by the same people. Of course they are going to support the same things.
Because they more weak-spined adherents to a failed political ideology that preaches bipartisanship despite Republicans committing themselves to nothing more than owning the libs.
Working together is the only way we will better the country, you’d be ecstatic if the republicans did the same thing for a bull pushed by democrats.
Traditional republicans (not MAGA) and Democrats have the same economic policies.
They have us arguing about gay marriage and abortion while together they maintain firm control over the economy: stagnant minimum wage, expensive healthcare, etc. That’s why nothing gets done even when the D’s have a trifecta.
Potentially, they did the political math and voted for bill knowing that they’re in a purple district with a slim majority. Also knowing that the bill will likely not pass the Senate once it’s filibustered to meet the 60 vote threshold.
Becasue they want government work and want things to get done.
