You’re set up on a gameshow similar to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
The premise is almost exactly as we know it – correctly answer 15 questions of increasingly difficulty to win $1,000,000. However, there are four major changes.
- You can CHOOSE the category. All 15 questions will reasonably fit under this umbrella.
- If you answer one question wrong, you must forfeit ALL your life savings at that point in time.
- No lifelines.
- If you choose to play, you must see it to the end. No walking away if you don’t like the question.

Hit me with the “Playable Smash Brothers character bases off shillouete”
Absolutely not. I have a bachelor’s degree in Biology. I’ve gotten a few life science questions wrong on Are you smarter than a 5th grader. Mostly due to not reading the question carefully. But still, a simple slip up, and you lose everything? Not a chance.
Well, we recently lost all our life savings anyway, so I’m in.
It’s totally going to be a fandom lore. I could very confidently do Count of Monte Cristo!
I have no savings anyway, but I’d also choose questions about my dog.
All of my life savings/ Goddamn, how am I ever going to replace like negative 39 dollars.
First, what’s the timing? I have to do this now, or can I study up? My topic would either be Minecraft, Lois McMaster-Bujold’s Vorkosigan Saga, or project management.
practically no life savings, can we do category: addition? lmfao
I was going to say my life as the category but then I realised I forget things from a week ago. So I would probably opt for the film Hook as I must have watched it 100 times as a kid
My own subjective feelings on subjects.
My category is “Addition of single digit numbers”
Category “my opinion on different pasta shapes.”
I’ll choose “the steps listed on the current box to make Kraft Dinner” and I’ll need a little time to study.
Im in debt. With pleasure.
Well let’s see, my life savings are in the negative, so if I get a question wrong I’ll ‘lose’ that. Sounds like you are eliminating my debt.

Positive whole numbers (under one thousand) that immediately follow a whole number.
It needs to be under a reasonable number to prevent them from asking which number follows a number like the one below, too easy to make a mistake in pronunciation.

Too much risk. I am close to retiring and have quite a bit saved up. Even if it was only one question it would be too high of a risk.
Now if it was $100,000,000 then I could risk it on home cooking as a subject.
