Getting sexually abused by my Mom. I just thought all moms were weird and whatever, she’s in charge right and she’s a mommy and mom’s can do no wrong… right?

Literally just about everything that my mother or father did. Took me a long time to realize that most adults don’t freeze under their covers in terror when they hear footsteps in the hallway. Rediscovering the world in my late 20’s, early 30’s was AMAZING though. I remember the first time I felt safe. I was 29.
