This act literally is going to disenfranchise more Republican voters than Democrat. Educated voters are more likely to have the forms of ID needed, like a passport. Married women (especially those who have changed their name) are more likely Republican, and rural women will be less able or willing to obtain the required documentation to vote.

We believe that everybody who wants to vote and is eligible should be able to easily vote.
Honestly, if you want secure elections, you get rid of registering to vote, do a free national ID and check that ID when people vote. That’s it.
It’s not about political games, it’s about doing what is right for the country. We are a party that’s stands on that, as much as it hurts us.
Because voting isn’t supposed to be a team sport. I want every citizen to have the right to vote and any attempt at disenfranchising is undemocratic.
Freedoms and rights for all, or for nobody. I choose everyone.
