I feel like I’m seeing more positivity for smoking than I’ve ever seen. I know it was common in the mid 1900’s but my whole life smoking was seen as this evil thing that devalued the worth of a fellow man. All the PSA’s and whatnot were always on the tv.
Now I see all kinds of stuff talking about how awesome cigarettes are. I see more cigarette positivity than I do for vaping. It’s like it’s come full circle like some kind of trend. I’ve even started smoking, not religiously but I may have a cig or two on the weekend if someone has any.

They’re not making a comeback. You just think so because you’re a smoker now. The more important question is, why did you start?
I don’t really see people smoking but I’m not around crowds often.
I think cigs and vapes are both bad, and we won’t know the effects of vape until another decade or two because it’s so new. But the biggest turn off for a vape to me is they literally combine a bunch of chemicals in some factory in China and put it in a tiny thing that you suck to taste like blue raspberry and it actually does taste like it. Which is scary and I think if you told me smoke a cigarettes/cigar or a vape I’ll rather do the cig.
I see like high schoolers 20 year old with vapes but I never really soon a grown man/woman with a vape honestly
Only in your bubble.
My theory is the tobacco industry got the kids hooked on nicotine with vapes but vaping is just less cool than smoking and when they made it harder to get vapes in candy flavors cigarettes became a more attractive option. You really should avoid cigs if you can though they make you stink and increase your anxiety and stress levels which no one needs rn
I’m not sure if it’s making a comeback, but I’ve noticed it more lately. And guess what? I’m not a smoker! It seems like smoking isn’t as taboo as it used to be. One thing I’ve noticed is that in TV shows and movies, smoking was almost completely absent in the 2000’s. But lately, I’ve seen it a lot more.
