PHS backgrounds packet?

r/

I know it’s very extensive and they call your employers and references. As far as listing your roommates, i have 4 of them and i don’t really talk or know them. Can I just say i live at the resident and by myself? Will they come investigate and see if i live by myself or see if anyone else lives there with me? That way i dont make a mistake

Just add them. Why hide them when you don’t have any problems with them. They’re most likely gonna find out who you live with.

Hiding it would be worse than them saying something stupid or having a background.

Start out lying, great idea! Then you’ll be the same guy coming here whining because he can’t figure out what possibly got him DQ’d. Please consider a different profession, you clearly don’t have the required integrity if you would consider lying about something so insignificant.

They may do a home visit. Best to be honest.

If you list all of your roommates there’s a chance it might be awkward.

If you don’t list all of your roommates there’s a very high chance that you won’t get hired.

Which agency are you applying with

Not to be a duck but if you’re looking to lie and take a short cut on such a simple issue this probably isn’t the career for you.

A lie of omission is still a lie. If you say you live alone and they see you actually have FOUR roommates, you may have a problem. I mean, that’s a stupid thing to jeopardize your prospective career for.

The fact that you’re asking if you can lie without getting caught, and you’re only on your PHS is a red flag.

Could you probably lie? Maybe. Will you make it through this process, then the academy if lying is your go to move? Probably not.

We had a kid in my academy get fired this week for lying about when he last shined his boots. It’s not worth it. Integrity is paramount.
