Can I get my own records from the police department?

Back in 2012 when I was 12, I was texting a 32 year old guy inappropriately. He was local,i found him on a local dating app. Back then, my mom somehow found out while I was at school, my phone stayed at home. Back then she brought me to the police department and told me I might go to juvie for talking to him. She told her the police told her they think they know who it is because they appearenly had issues with him before. Now, she still says that and refuses to tell her how she actually found out back then which she refused back then too. Is there anyway I can get the records from the case from the police? I can’t find the guy on any offender registries or anything so Im worried he didn’t get in trouble. with how my mom is I wouldn’t be surprised if she was fully lying about the entire thing idk.
