· Golf courses are a poor, inefficient and environmentally destructive use of land.
· golf courses require an absurd amount of water and emissions to maintain while creating a vast area of monoculture, reducing biodiversity.
· golf courses are often on public land, but are inaccessible to much of the public that cannot afford to play golf.
· golf generates even greater emissions because most golfers drive to the courses and then drive around the course in golf carts.
· golf is not a real sport.
EDIT: banned. My autocorrect is dumb.

Lets say that land wasn’t use for a golf course – is a parking lot and Walmart built on the same space really better for the land?
I agree that golf 100% isn’t a sport. You’re playing against trees and sand 😭😭😭
