CAE identify your loved ones (or at least your children) by their hands? Meaning if there was a lineup of random people whose hands you could only see, would you be able to pick out all your loved ones?

Absolutely. Probably any part of her I would recognize immediately
Yes, including my mom, dad, and sister, and I barely get to see them as we’ve been states away for almost a decade.
I work at a hotel and yesterday I was handing someone their room keys and was thinking how much their hands look like my sisters who I haven’t even seen in 2+ years. Weird how that works huh
Easily. Even my ex wife, it’s been 7 years since I saw her hands but I’d know them.
This is so fascinating and I wonder how often people even think about this! I was just thinking about it the other day & my friend happened to ask the question today (which she was pondering while being stuck in a hotel after the big earthquake. 😢 Thank God she survived!)
I know I could i.d. the hands of my Grandpas’ who have been dead for years. I guess we don’t realize how intimately we study & know hands. 🤯
Yes, absolutely.
I could 100% identify my mom, dad, sister, boyfriend & ex-husband. Anyone else would be a struggle.
I have a couple dozen loved ones who are friends and family and I would be able to know any of their hands in a lineup. I’m very detail-oriented to a fault.
I could identify my mom’s and my ex’s. Probably my sister’s. Probably not my brothers unless the others in the lineup had different skin tone & hair color. I’m the only one with distinctive scars – they’d all spot my effed up hands even in a lineup of other effed up hands. Haha
I could spot my parents and siblings and most of my friends, 100%. I have really small/odd hands so I’ve spent a lot of life comparing them to others.
As much as I adore them I don’t think I could!
Well after reading all of this I feel I’m an outlier, but no. I’d have an idea maybe but I’d never be able to be sure.
100%
Yes! I remember a lot of people by their hands. Once as a child, I outed a friend of the family as a WalMart Santa because I could tell by his hands. I was rushed away from Santa’s workshop, and he wore gloves after that.
I could with my dad because he has callouses and is a nail biter
Oh totally. And at least 2 dozen more people
