Hello, I am very interested in visual culture and film, I would love to research and teach it, and there are proffessors at my university who I think are fantastic and would enjoy doing what they do. However, what is the career outlook like in Australia for lecturing jobs in this field, and career advancement? Is it worth the time money and investment ? Some of my Proffessors have said academia can be quite unstable and political, which I am not to phased by. What is your guys opinion. Have a lovely day
