First thing I want to say last week or maybe 2 I wrote something on Reddit about that baby boomer lady getting scammed by a fake Marc Harmon and I got some weird email about me owing money to a cash advance when I definitely know that’s not me.. I wasn’t high and mighty. I was like wow I can’t believe people can be that careless.. well last night what happened to me.. I need to apologize to anyone I offended.. I’m very sry I even thought like that.. I underestimated these scammers… i love poshmark and eBay… I collect vintage Etnies and I buy purses or totes.. I never sold anything once until last night.. I have a Marc Jacob’s ombré yellow tote unused.. never carried.. still have the tags on it.. I decided I’m going to sell it cuz I’m going to sonic temple with my best friend may 11th.. I put it up for sale got a lot of hits and offers so I just picked one.. and sold it.. got the money and then my bank account got drained.. mind you this is at 3am.. my husband woke up from the bank alerts on his phone and then it really went down hill.. this is completely through poshmark.. no side anything.. I understand it’s not their fault. These scammers are intelligent.. I was flabbergasted.. our checking account is seized right now.. we will get the money back but not til it’s fully investigated.. I have emails, receipts and everything else.. wow just wow.. just giving people the heads up.. apparently nothing is safe anymore.. I truly don’t blame poshmark… I still love them… but I definitely won’t be selling or buying anything for awhile..
