Quite a few, especially for teenagers. I think I remember one called Yuba or something that a friend of mine used in high school. Try giving “app for making friends” a search to see if you can find one that works for you 🙂
You can use dating apps to make friends! Just set your intention to that, and make it clear in your bio that you’re looking for friends, and away you go! Best of luck
Use meetup.com and join a local group in an activity you enjoy. Much easier than meeting someone 1 on 1, and easy to break the ice since you’re all into the same activity. Really one of the best ways to make friends.
I went through a similar experience a few years back. I ended up stumbling on an app called “We3”.
You download it and sign up for free, answer some questions about your personality, preferences, and hobbies etc; and with that information it tries to match you with 2 other people in your area with a similar alignment.
Your results may vary based on where you are exactly/how many potential matches you can pair with, but it’s worth a shot maybe?
(I only used it once, but actually had a very enjoyable experience from it. At first I was a bit anxious/nervous about meeting some random people online, cos anything like this was WAY out of my comfort zone at the time, but the people I did end up meeting were amazing. Super nice and friendly!)

I feel like if there is they should name it the Friendzone just to hammer home like this is friends only, not dating lol

Good question. I never thought about it before.

I don’t need an app to get me into the “Friendzone” I seem to be permanently stuck there. 😔

Shit meetme, back when it was called myyearbook, everyone was hooking up.
I think most people assume the sites for friends are for hookups, so I stay off of them.
I think they tried this not long ago… Everyone used it as a dating app lol

I just do discord and talk to the people who shares my interests

On Bumble there’s a BFF half of the app you can do in order to try and make friends.
