So, for context I studied music as a degree and play the guitar so I like to think I enjoy a broad variety of music. When I initially started to play guitar I enjoyed blues music, however as time has gone on my goodness it is so boring and cannot understand how anyone can enjoy it. All the music sounds the same and the guitar licks are predictable and boring!
As for Jazz, I enjoy the rock side of it, however Bebop/standards/hardbop I appreciate the talent however it just sounds like playing notes for the sake of it(that been said I do enjoy a little bit of fusion and smooth Jazz).
Lastly, I find jazz musicians to be very snobbish and a tad bit pretentious (basing on my tutors and people who played the genre).

I can’t stand it when snobbish musicians give you that “be ready for any musical situation that comes your way” spiel. I love getting into musical situations where I don’t know what is going on.

Jazz/blues are both very broad umbrella terms. Making generalizations about one or the other is kind of silly.
