You can just read r/conservative, they’re thrilled trump can effectively dissappear anyone he wants with the victim having zero recourse.

  2. PennStateMtnMan Avatar

I need to get my popcorn.

  3. iamaprettykitty Avatar

He needs to be brought home in whatever condition he ended up in and those responsible should be removed from power.

I may be conservative, but since I’m not racist or an idiot I vote Democrat.

  4. Strife_Dragoon Avatar

You need to make this post flared users only if you want any conservatives to show up

  5. Willem_Dafuq Avatar

They just spew the same nonsense that he’s a gang member so that apparently means he doesn’t need a trial or anything

  6. shushyouup Avatar

I want to know what conservatives think about “We made a mistake. But instead of correcting it we’re doubling down and will not be fixing it!” because that’s not what strong leaders do. This is a huge sign of weakness in leadership. That signals to our enemies that our leadership suffers from fragility and is easily manipulated.

  7. Farting_Sunshine Avatar

They’re overjoyed by it, and they are coming for you and your family next. Men will be deported and/or executed. Women and children will be rape slaves. Conservative bloodlust is second only to their thirst for sexual abuse.

  8. spokkie5011 Avatar

    It’s outrageous and evil.

  9. notfromrotterdam Avatar

They love this shit. It’s sadistic towards brown people. It’s what they voted for.

  10. Bushinkainidan Avatar

Both conservative and a Marylander. A rare bird here. If he was deported incorrectly, by accident or other, we should get him back. BUT his claimed ties to MS 13 should be properly investigated. His permanent status was granted not because he’s a good guy. It’s because he plausibly would be in danger going back to his home country. Like many things, the average person isn’t getting good information to form an informed decision. So to your question: he should be brought back and properly investigated for the purported gang ties.

  11. Mr_Ashhole Avatar

Anyone who was wrongly deported should be brought back. End of story.

First president to defy a Supreme Court’s decision.

  13. Muted_Nature6716 Avatar

Meh. It’s not the travesty dems say it is.

  14. TotallyNotAFroeAway Avatar

Their answer is “who cares, he shouldn’t have come here illegally”, feel free to browse their cesspool of a subreddit where they complain about echo chambers and you can’t respond to them

  15. KatBoySlim Avatar

please leave this sub alone. please.

  16. gentleman_bronco Avatar

They’re thrilled. And they’re making a list now that Trump is saying he wants to deport Americans who disagree with him.

    Source: r/conservative is a cesspool.

  17. absolutelyedie Avatar

We need to request proof of life.

  18. mcarterphoto Avatar

I’m guessing their response is “Well, he probably ate people’s pets, Vance said so. THEY’RE EATING THE PETS!!!”

  19. Raigheb Avatar

    Cults are powerful.

You can present obvious evidence and they’ll still deny it.

  20. azrolexguy Avatar

He was here illegally, twice he was determined in 2019 to be an active member of MS-13, so what’s the problem 🤔 a small paperwork snafu and you liberals lose your minds.

    Again, he was here ILLEGALLY

  21. yehti Avatar

Redditors of Reddit, how have you not realized asking questions to conservatives on this subreddit does not yield any actual answers?

  22. NatalyaRostova Avatar

I think illegal immigrants should be deported

  23. psnGatzarn Avatar

    You mean him bein erased/murdered

  24. mikewheelerfan Avatar

    Maybe try r/askpolitics instead

  25. cjboffoli Avatar

It seems to me that the label ‘conservative’ becomes meaningless if one supports the government subverting due process and the rule of law.

  26. skins_team Avatar

    It’s a tough situation.

The courts can’t tell the executive how to conduct foreign affairs (see the 9-0 unanimous Supreme Court ruling in this exact case), yet also have zero jurisdiction over Garcia now that he’s not in the United States.

What I think should happen is the administration should have the stay order revisited (which says he can be deported anywhere but El Salvador) because the rolling is based on fear of a gang going after his family, but that gang no longer exists. If that order gets revised, the issue is settled. And if it doesn’t, I’d like to see Garcia moved to another country for deportation but still don’t see how any Article III court can make the executive do anything relating to foreign policy. Again, the Supreme Court just affirmed this in a unanimous 9-0 instruction to the District Court (who promptly ignored their advice and ordered his return again … which is not going to go well).

  27. Ouchies81 Avatar

I’m more concerned about my conservative brothers over in that subreddit.

You trample one man’s freedom and we all suffer. But they don’t seem to grasp that. I suspect bots or something.

Because the 4th and 15th amendment isn’t about protecting illegals. It’s about protecting our own. And Garcia got absolutely trampled on that account.

  28. Mykittenismychicken Avatar

Just spoke with my in-laws. They are beyond delusional and think the Supreme Court ruled 9 to 0 in favor of no due process and that Trump can deport anyone and doesn’t need to bring this guy back. My mind is just exploding.

  29. Tower-Union Avatar

You’re attempting to engage in good faith with people who have none. How do you think that will go?

  30. BakedBrie26 Avatar

Our illusion of freedom is dead.

It’s the horrifying reality I’ve always feared and is why I call myself a prison abolitionist in 2025.

Slavery was never abolished in these states, y’all.

And if “prisoners” and “criminals” have no rights then none of us have rights because people in power can simply deem you “criminal” to silence you…. which is now happening.

  31. GoForthandProsper1 Avatar

Trump and El Salvador Pres keep saying he’s a member of MS13 gang.

    His family says he’s not

If he was a member, then what was the “administrative error” that deported him?

Was he a past gang member turned informant and that’s why he was granted protective stay in the US?

No one wants to present any proof on either side.

Edit: oh wait sorry, the post says Conservatives only. I missed that.

  32. Cornflake294 Avatar

They just clap and bark like trained seals no matter what Trump does. They are more motivated by seeing the “libs” get angry or sad than any coherent ideology.

  33. SlimJesusKeepIt100 Avatar

Idgaf tbh has nothing to do with me

  34. Skoljnir Avatar

I say this as someone who can be considered a conservative but not a Trump supporter/voter.

I think it is a good demonstration of how the government can and routinely does violate the law, which to me just highlights the folly of leftwingers who seem to be charitable with their faith in the competence of government and their obliviousness to the phenomenon of government in which their rules don’t apply to them. I do not think this is a uniquely Trump administration issue, I think the press is very eager to to report on anything and everything that could possibly perceived as negative relating to Trump and has failed in their duty to the public to properly report on the misdeeds of previous administrations.

  35. bananafoster22 Avatar

My two cents is to stop wasting time making threads trying to “gotcha” conservatives on reddit, or even to try and convince them to change their minds

They don’t care. They lack empathy and refuse to look clear-eyed at how this could affect them. Or they outright want fascism.

Fuck them. Take action offline. Fight back. Posturing on the internet is unhelpful.

  36. OneBayLeaf Avatar

You need to go to a different site if you are specifically asking conservatives. Reddit is very heavy left leaning so there are not many on here.

  37. throwawayrefiguy Avatar

Not a conservative, but one day the shoe will be on the other foot.  The precedent has been laid.  The next Democratic administration won’t be like any of the previous ones.

  38. TPCC159 Avatar

    Don’t care

This is like asking an empty room for answers…

I have seen as a person of Eastern European descent whose ancestors were sent to concentration camps say I am offended you are comparing gang members to my ethnic heritage.

  41. Wild-Spare4672 Avatar

    Never heard of him

  42. Dry-Fennel-1769 Avatar

Not a conservative but their law and order brand is fading fast😂. And their worst nightmares may come true because soon it will be a free for all for criminals (lawlessness breeds lawlessness)!

  43. Kolfinna Avatar

    They love it you idgit

  44. platonionius Avatar

Americans still asleep thinking we have a country left?

They’re going to legalize hunting democrats for sport while talk argue about morality.
These animals deserve one thing. The same thing Nazis do.

  45. GByteKnight Avatar

A lot of people never read A Man For All Seasons.

    >“William Roper: “So, now you give the Devil the benefit of law!”

    >Sir Thomas More: “Yes! What would you do? Cut a great road through the law to get after the Devil?”

    >William Roper: “Yes, I’d cut down every law in England to do that!”

    >Sir Thomas More: “Oh? And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned ’round on you, where would you hide, Roper, the laws all being flat? This country is planted thick with laws, from coast to coast, Man’s laws, not God’s! And if you cut them down, and you’re just the man to do it, do you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then? Yes, I’d give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety’s sake!”

  46. RaisinBran21 Avatar

Why are you asking the very people that voted him in? Either they don’t care or they are happy

  47. Chocolat3City Avatar

As a non-white American, I’m afraid it could happen to me. I know it would just be a blip in the news, but after a few weeks no one would care but my father, my wife, and my future son (due in October).

I’m vacillating between trying not to think about it, and obsessing over how I will react to masked kidnappers. Feels bad man…

  48. AggravatingMuffin132 Avatar

If they screwed up, they need to make it right and fix it.

  49. Feeling_Bag_7924 Avatar

    (I am a Canadian conservative.)

You Americans have to find a way to stop this maniac and team. You are almost past the point of no return, when Executive branch is defying the Judicial. This will not end well for anybody.

  50. AP_professional Avatar

Did you know he’s a gang member of MS13? Keep them out!

  51. Sumi9lives Avatar

This question should be rephrased — Garcia was an American and a citizen cannot be deported from his home country. He was disappeared.
