In the past couple of years, I’ve noticed I’m getting tired more often, and I’m slowing down a bit on routine things like getting up off the floor, or climbing stairs. I turn 39 this year and fairly active — so I kind of took it for granted that my body would just keep up with my routines.
At what age did you feel everyday things were taking a little longer for you? Or that you needed more rest or energy for certain things?

When I was 27 lol
I noticed an actual difference very quickly after I turned 30. First time and had to have regular: PT, chiro, feet issues, all the body issues.
you may be overestimating a bit what your activeness actually is
many times I’ve asked what people thought was fairly active and it turns out they were just walking maybe 3 miles across the day across campus kinda slowly or at work on their feet all day, maybe lugging around some light boxes. It doesn’t count. That’s like non-exercise exercise sure but it’s not active enough
cardio alone isn’t enough too when we are in our 40s. Building muscle and yoga really really helps with spryness.
Recently – I’ve been in physio and trying to trace back what the issue is made me realized I’m getting there. Years old (some decades old) injuries are coming back to haunt me at 38…
