Are you well respected at your workplace?
Nice
Was actually JD blocking the elevator with the coin?
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve found while collecting trash? Which building(s) are the easiest to clean up and which are the hardest? Do you bond with students & faculty around campus or do you keep to yourself?
Janitors are unsung heroes. Especially if you’re cleaning up dorms & school buildings. The janitors in my dorm were incredible and put up with so much so we could have a good college experience. I’m 6 years out of college and I still have fonder memories of the janitors than I do of some of my professors lol. Your job is just as important as any of ours. Thank you for everything that you do!
Edit: just saw another comment that you were treated badly by faculty & students. That’s so messed up, I’m so sorry you have to deal with that.
Do you know everything would literally fall to shit without you? Also whats a good way to be not be part of the douches as I rush between classes, occasionally passing y’all in the hall.
What are good days and bad days in your work?
My old movie theater job cut back on our janitors, so we had to do a lot of cleaning afterwards for lost of the week, so you have my sympathies for any hardships you may have on the job.
But my question is, do you see this a long term career, or is this a means to an end?
Do universities pay more?
