I miss the Jack Black I grew up on.
Does someone have something on him? Is he stuck in some hell of a contract? Is he forcing himself to to be kid friendly?
I feel like we haven’t seen Jack be genuinely himself in a LONG time, he just feels so forced in everything he’s in lately.
The ONLY thing I’ve seen lately that felt like he had the feel and energy I remember was on SNL a week ago, specifically shoving flaming hot Doritos in his ass.
Watch that and tell me that man hasn’t been missing for 10 years.

He seems to enjoy himself now? He likes video games, watching silly stuff, doing fun stuff. He is becoming family friendly because he has kids and family now, and that changes people.
I mean, people do change as the got older. Don’t expect people to stay same for our enjoyment.
He likes money, he is not being forced to do anything he doesn’t want to.
I think he’s always been kid friendly and goofy. He’s one of the only major movie stars who genuinely is good in and enjoys just the fun, goofy, light hearted stuff. I mean look at his stuff. Kung Fu Panda, Nacho Libre, School of rock, Mario movie, Minecraft movie, etc. just to name some. He’s just a beloved family film guy, and he’s also pretty damn funny too. He sells his characters and lines so good
Doing broad family comedies has been more lucrative for him than songs about cunnilingus, so can you really blame him?
