I am aware of someone that is afraid of butterflies. Yes…butterflies. I respect the fear it’s just so random. My most random thing is probably a snake biting me while I’m sitting on the toilet. And yes some of the snakes in my country tend to get into pipes and climb out of toilets. Crazy…

I’m afraid of butterflies and moths lol. Always have been, since I was a little girl. Used to have nightmares about giant moths in the house chasing me and eating my clothes. The butterflies, I think stemmed from my mother telling me when I was very, very young not to touch them because if you touch a butterfly wing then they won’t be able to fly anymore and would die? Something like that. Idk. I can appreciate they are pretty and harmless but nope, I don’t want to be anywhere near them! Makes me shudder just to think about.
