I [29M] was sexually assaulted/raped by mother for my first 10 years of life. We don’t talk nearly enough about sexual trauma in men.

I don’t really have a whole lot to say other than people need to understand and accept that men experience sexual trauma in just as serious ways as women. I’ve had 3 different therapists gloss over my childhood trauma because they don’t seem comfortable even engaging with me about it. It’s really tough living in a world where there’s no support in dealing with these types of things.
