[Marvel Comics] What’s the setting of the Cosmic Marvel?

r/

I know it’s kind of heavy to ask, but I’d honestly like to know more in depth about Cosmic Marvel and, in general, many of the stories that happen on a larger scale in space and the galaxies.

  • What’s the setting and lore currently like for everything?

I know that, in general, I have to read the annihilation saga, although I will have already touched on a few that other comics, such as Al Ewing’s Ultimates and his Defenders runs, as well as other comic series that deal with this aspect.

But what I am most interested in knowing is the intergalactic structure at a structural and lore level, how different races, species, empires (Shi’ar, the Kree and the Phalanx) and corporations (Nova) work and coexist.

With this I would especially like to know about the original Guardians of the Galaxy lineups before marvel editorial started messing with the UCM synergy to better understand all of this.

Honestly what I’m looking for is to understand all this to give it a subversion within a worldbuilding I’m developing with some friends, expanding the concept of the New Ultimate Universe along with the Absolute Universe to the cosmos.
