Party to the offence? (Canada law)

r/

Years and years ago back when I was a teenager, maybe 14yrs old, me and my back-then friends were walking down a street during lunch hour, and one of my friends picks up a branch and says he’s boutta throw it at a house window.

I tell him no, that’s gonna break the window, don’t do it. I even tried to threaten him by saying I’d hold him down and wait for the homeowners to come out if he broke the window.

He does it anyway, breaks the window, and we all run away. Never got caught or questioned for it.

Was I party to the offence? I’m thinking sub-section 21(b) is the only thing I could maybe be guilty of, technically omitting to do the right thing by sticking around and giving a statement?
