I can’t seem to get the same dopamine hit from anything that I would get from being on here. I use this site wayyyyy too much. I will literally just refresh my home feed over and over again on my laptop when I am home. I need to break this addiction but the slightest bit of discomfort and I come back again. I want to take a break at least through this weekend (but not totally delete). I don’t want to get weak and then log back on here.
What can i do if I get bored or uncomfortable/to replace my usage of this app/site?

Totally get this. What helped me was building a mini “discomfort list”, you know, stuff I could do when I felt the urge to open Reddit again. For me, that was journaling one paragraph, walking 10 mins, or solving one logic puzzle. It’s not about replacing the dopamine 1:1 but training your brain to accept slightly less exciting stuff. After 3-4 days, it genuinely got easier.
