I know that as far as temperature goes it’s really cold, but wouldn’t you stay at the same temperature (out heat up because of radiation and stuff) because there’s nothing to transfer your heat to? I mean, there’s black body radiation, but I can’t imagine that dissipates a significant amount of heat energy.

Well it’s certainly not hot. “Cold” is just the absence of heat. There is nothing in space to hold any heat. So it is cold by default.
