Karel Kryl, he was protest songs writer during communist times in Czechoslovakia and also sung them.
Favorite band from Czechia i haven’t but I would say some post-punk and doomer vibe like Dukla or Plusminusnula
For me, it is definitely Will Tura. He sings in Dutch and has been a staple since the 1960s. He has retired a few years ago unfortunately, but I still regard him as the greatest.
J. Karjalainen I do not know a single finnish person who doesn’t like J. Karjalainen. No matter your age backround everybody likes J. Karjalainen. My deceased gran 93 liked him, my mum 60+ likes him, I like him, my 4 year old likes him. One simply cannot not like him.
I´m from Portugal, and my favorite Portuguese musical group was Madredeus, until the original singer Teresa Salgueiro left the group, then they replaced her with another singer and I completely lost interest in their music. The singer who left is irreplaceable. Madredeus, while she was in the group, was SO good! They were my first ever concert when I was 14, and it was the most magical night. Their sound was unique.
My favorite solo singer is Teresa Salgueiro, and also Dulce Pontes.
My favourite German band is Santiano and my favourite artist is Dame, although technically he is Austrian.
Totally different genres, but I enjoy them both.

From Ireland, I love the Fureys and Davey Arthur… Their song “when you were sweet 16” is my all time favourite song.
Thin Lizzy/Phil Lynott from Ireland. So many classics – Emerald, Waiting for an Alibi, Cowboy Song, Róisín Dubh, Rosalie (a cover granted) etc.
Faen du er norsk haha
Favorite band from Norway is probably Burzum, despite Varg’s continued attempts at being a terrible cunt of a person.
I don’t know about bands, but Jacques Brel is my favourite singer from Belgium.
I don’t like ppl from my country , as American from the continent I love Taylor swift even she’s not from my country

My favorite German band is The Hirsch Effekt. But I listen to a lot Paula Hartmann lately, which is a totally different genre.
