Let me explain, my boyfriend used to work at a Jamba Juice and makes me the BEST smoothies and today I had the biggest craving for one. I messaged him in the morning asking him if he could please make / bring me a smoothie for my lunch break at 3pm and he told me he would no problem. I clock in at 11am and when 3 comes around I message him that Im off for lunch to which he calls me and says that he miss read my text and thought I had said 3:30. Not gonna lie, I was sad because my urge for a smoothie was still strong but I told him it was okay since he lives about 30 minutes away (I have a 30 minute lunch) and that he didn’t have to make it. He then tells me he already made the smoothie and that he could make it to my job before my lunch ends. To be Clear, I didn’t not have faith that he would make it and he called me to talk on the drive over. He apologized and said he was sorry for miss reading my message, I told him it was okay (still a bit sad at this point), I asked him how far he was and he told me he was 5 minutes away (I’m 15 minutes into my lunch rn) I asked him how the hell he was 5 minutes away to which he told me he ran a red light and going almost 60 down the street. I. WAS. SHOCKED. Not even 5 seconds after he said that I hear a police siren go off on his end. “Aw man maybe not 5 minutes anymore” He ended up with a speeding ticket and still made it before the end of my lunch break with my smoothie, I’m never asking him to bring me one ever again knowing this is the length he’s willing to go to for me…
TL;DR craved one of my boyfriend’s smoothie and he ended up getting a speeding ticket to deliver it to me during my lunch break.

this isn’t your mess up… the driver is at fault here.. why is asking for a smoothie = to running a red light at 60mph in your boyfriend’s head?
That’s just life being fun creating silly memories
that men goes to length for you.. I hope you compensate him in different way and appreciate his effort
Endangering others for you is not romantic?
