I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel like a lot of people experience sex as a demonstration.
You have to “do it right,” “do everything,” all the time. You have to moan like you’re in a movie, move like you’re in a tutorial, and definitely not show off when you’re vulnerable or just want to cuddle up afterward.
It’s not that I don’t like sex, on the contrary. I love it. But I love it even more when it’s real. When there’s laughter, when there’s trembling, when it’s a little awkward sometimes.
And frankly, I find it sad to have to hide the fact that you also like the emotion in the moment, not just the acrobatics.
Sometimes I almost feel “weird” looking for a real connection, not just Insta-friendly performances under the covers.
