I’ve always been someone who handles things in silence.
I don’t talk about my feelings often not because I’m hiding, but because it doesn’t feel useful.
But that silence sometimes turns into emotional numbness.
If you’re like me, how do you deal with it without shutting down completely?

Decide if it’s something worth actually caring about. A lot of people get worked up over things they shouldn’t. That often has to do with people assuming someone is emotional about something just by having an opinion.
I write a diary. I’m usually not pouring my heart and emotions out in it, but it does help to just kind of go over my day. Write down how I’m feeling about X, how I’m annoyed/stressed about Y, etc.
Sports. Exhausted you are way calmer. You should pick a sport according to your type. Do you need to get your mind off the matter for a minute? Do a sport that you need to focus on. You need to think it through? Look for a sport that lets you do that, cardio sports usually do that.
You can also write stuff down to break it down to its bare bones and because the process of formulation helps you seeing it more clearly.
Depends I’d it’s worth complaining about, but most times just ignore it till it bothers me again.
