It’s not because they suck at acting but rather their face being plastered again and again for so many movies and shows, making the industry over saturated with the same fellas.
After watching someone play too many different roles in such small amount of time, kinda removes the magic of story telling and it feels like they’re playing themselves just in different makeup

So what do you want them to do? Go and be jobless? it’s their job, so why wouldn’t they do it?
Also for me it depends on the actor, some are better than others to not have this problem.
I get the feeling but it’s their job and they’d obviously want to take as many chances as possible to earn as much money and fame.
With the way the industry is going that doesnt work. They cant figure out how to get paid when their work is on streaming
Yeah we should only let an actor be in one movie because I can’t tell the difference between Dracula and Commissioner Gordon!
I think this is more on casting directors. Stop casting Pedro Pascal in absolutely everything. He was in the last 5 things everyone saw, and he’ll be in the next 5 things too. He’s a decent actor, but nobody should be in the amount of stuff he is in.
Lol The cashiers at Dollar Tree should work less hours. They’ll make less money. But seeing the same employee over and over… Kinda removes the magic for me.
Insert any other job and that sounds crazy.
I feel what you’re saying though. It’s not the actors it’s the movie execs. They use the same lifeless formulas to maximize profit, so they end up reusing and passing around the most profitable actors
They don’t decide when movies come out. Also, someone like Timothee Chalamet or Zendaya – people ASSUME they work a lot, but they literally made like 8 movies between them since 2022, they really don’t work that much, we’re just exposed to them a lot through other media and it makes it feel like they’re “in everything”
Or… you know… just don’t watch it.
It’s a symptom of the risk averseness of big studios. Casting a successful actor makes the next projects success a tad more likely. Until the market is saturated and everyone stops caring.
No they shouldn’t.
I would imagine that the stardom is fleeting and they better hold on tight while it lasts.
