Yo, anyone else get that weird-ass feeling when you link up with an old friend after years? Like, you’ve got all the shared memories and inside jokes still in your head, but something feels… off. You’re vibing, but it’s not quite the same like you kinda know them, but also don’t? It’s this trippy mix of nostalgia and “damn, we really grew apart.” Is that just adulting? Or does it ever feel normal again the more you catch up?
What goes through your mind when you reconnect with an old friend and realize how much you’ve both changed?

I can go years without talking to some of the lads I used to pal about with and when I get back to my home town for a night out it’s like no time has passed really. Obviously there’s a wee bit of piss taking about physical changes, but other than that, nothing really.
Its sad, but acceptance is a beautiful thing. To be grateful for sharing paths for the time that you had and always holding them in your heart. You never know when those paths might cross again and appreciate the impact they’ve had. That’s how i manage it
It’s been a while since I met up with old friends from y 20s or younger (I’m in my 50s right now) but the ones I’ve met that changed wasn’t that awkward really. It was meeting up with the ones who didn’t that was weird.
