The sound of vinyl crackling before a record starts playing, instantly transports me to lazy Sundays spent rummaging through my granddad’s old record collection. Smells, sounds, and tastes can be powerful time machines.
The first notes on ‘Black Parade’ by My Chemicla Romance. Gets me emotional reminiscing those days when I was young jamming to this song with my cousins, just enjoying life with no worries
There are times when I hear a distant jet overhead and it sounds like the dangerous halls beyond the slipgates, and I’m about to hear the tortured cries, “Kill me now!”, or “It’s hurts…”.
Game cube startup sound. Reminds me of the sitting in my best friends room in 4th grade playing the first ever version of animal crossing. It’s like I’m back in that room again.
We had a game at work where they played the first second of a song and people have to guess what it is. I sucked. Until they did that one and I nailed it immediately. My boss was super impressed. I did not tell him how I know it so well lol.

It’s the first song that used to play in the car when I was a mormon missionary and the car would start.

The sound of a creaky old wooden door. It makes me think of my late grandpas house, his garage, that old corvette he never got to finish, good times then, simple times.
just happened on the bus, heard someone scrolling thru the games on the switch with the volume on, anyone who has played switch knows the little click when you scroll between games and knows what i mean, brought me back to high school
