Ever since my grandfather told me he didn’t take freezing for dental work I decided I need to try it. Ever since then I’ve seen the light.
No Freezing saves time
I don’t tear my mouth to shreds from the numbness
if the dentist is competent there is no pain what so ever.

That’s not an opinion, that is a choice.
Wtf is freezing
wait….freezing?
As someone who had difficulty with the freezing taking effect, and had to feel it, yes, there is pain lol. It was the highest rated dentist in my city.
I recently had a filling done without freezing, a bit of discomfort for a second, but it was fine! I hate having my mouth numb.
My man, not everyone has perfect teeth like you. The first time I went to my new dentist I was ready to cry from happiness after I left because it was a first painless filling in my life. Like literally they gave me an injection as always and saw I’m still in pain so they just asked me if I want more pain killers lol. I was so surprised I’m allowed to get it even though I was the one paying.
If there is pain or not really depends on location and depth of the cavity.
Depends on the tooth and filling. Surface level filling on your canine? Yeah, no numbing is likely fine.
Filling is directly over the nerve? You’re gonna want numbing, and even after 4 doses of it, youll still be in excruciating pain
Dude I have no idea what you’re saying to high for ts
I would have an opinion on your opinion if I knew what the hell you were talking about.
I do it sometimes too but it’s a risk. Those nerves are super sensitive and if he’s going deep and hits one you will know and maybe be scared off the dentist for awhile. It sucks a lot.
I let the dentist make the call of what it’s going to be. Freezing sucks but when the dentists recommend it then I’m taking it.
It depends on how deep the cavity is. I’ve had fillings done sans anaesthesia – some of which worked oot well, since they were more superficial and wouldn’t need anaesthesia anyway… my dentist was kinda annoyed, because my dental work was very clearly paying for his new Jeep. 💩
A long time ago I had four hours of dental work under Versed. At some point in the process I was aware an assistant was pushing something in my mouth and I grunted. She said uh oh, and then I was out again.
I’ll be mentioning that if I ever need surgery. lol
Assuming freezing=numbing. The local anesthesia doesn’t work on me. I’ve had work done that was meh, fine and I was happy not to pay the cost of failed anesthesia. I’ve also had work that was very much not fine, and I’d have given a hell of a lot to not feel it.
And then there was the time I had to pay to be completely sedated to have my wisdom teeth removed. Since local doesn’t work on me they refused to do it any other way. Anesthesia costs were higher than the dental work costs and my insurance covered none of it!
No one knows what you’re talking about
