I was thinking about that part of my life and had the thousand yard stare for a minute. I have a lot of second hand trauma from it and I have the urge to tell any one who listens as a trauma response. I wondered if any one was curious about this specialty. Whenever I mentioned to someone that I worked there they’d recoil in horror and pity. Also it was my first nursing job. Obv no patient identifiers or major details will be said.
I worked as a burn nurse. Saw some shit. Ama
