The DMV is the subliminal root of mass mind enslavement. It is the engine upon which conformity is built. It is the antithesis of American ideals. It is one of the things we all share a disdain for. It is the tiny voice at the very base of our being that screams “you will comply or else!” It’s time to stop pretending we are free and actually BE free.

how would we fund road maintenance without revenue collected from vehicle registrations etc?
Look I don’t like going to the DMV just as much as the next person but you are really reaching on this
The DMV is AZ is not an issue at all.
You can do 95% online, when you do go in you can make an appointment.
Fees are reasonable, and inspections are simple.
When I lived in NY, it was the worst fucking experience.
When in TX, somewhere in the middle.
Point is, it varies by state.
Nah, you’re thinking of the tag office, which is a separate location. The DMV might suck, and it’s a massive pain in the ass to work with
sometimesusually, but at the end of the day they’re doing their best to make sure there’s at least some standards for anyone driving legally.Roads aren’t free though. Not saying there’s no ripoffs or it’s not inefficient, just we need it for some things.
I dont know why everyone hates the dmv. In my state, most things get done online or in the mail. They do appointments too, so If you do go in, you’re in and out.
Because the roads would be a chaos of unlicensed, unidentified, unregulated drivers and vehicles. Should we demolish the agencies that license medical professionals & lawyers while we are at it? For the name of freedom?
What bro feels making a Reddit post hating the DMV
I jumped on my states web-page at 6:30am this morning. I was expecting to have to make an appointment weeks, maybe even months out.
It asked if I could make a 8:30am appointment, there were even after 5pm appointments available. I took the morning one.
Arrived to the door at 8:05am. I was completed and out the door with my new temp license (real ID approved) at about 8:55am.
Tbh; it was a great experience. The line was the same length to check in as it was when I arrived. And this is a small tiny success story of nightmare stories about DMVs.
