When sleeping with limbs hanging over the edge of the bed does it matter if they are covered or not for the monsters to attack?

Doesn’t matter. The monster is under the bed, so can see your limbs even if they are covered.
I don’t care, I love hanging my feet over the sides of the bed.
yes the sheets are a forcefield that protects you from the paranormal, the boogeyman, and the monster.
If you don’t have sheets you’re cooked and might as well walk into the closet for the boogeyman to get you with a shirt that says “i love the boogeyman and i make bad choices”
I’m willing to fight them at this point.
if i had to guess, then probably as much as it would matter to a wild animal, so not at all
Just hanging them over the side of the bed can be lethal. A surefire invitation to be grabbed and dragged under the bed. It’s a really big no-no.
For me it matters, because it put more layers between you and the monster, it’s just like a biker who fell down the bike, if he wears a shirt, it can reduce the damage to his body
It doesn’t seem to matter. I wake up and see a shadow person standing in the doorway to the hallway a few times a year and it just stands there and stares at me. It just wants to observe me and I don’t think it realizes I can see it.
Having one foot up to the shin hanging out renders monsters incapable of any movement.
My understanding is that anything below the bed frame is fair game
My dog sleeps under the bed so he’s got my back ,
If he ever growls or something then whatever is in the closet will have to fight a 2 vs 1.
The tickle monster is going to get you, OP!
In my experience, it’s best to have multiple layers, all limbs tightly tucked in bed, and cover everything but your face. Can’t be too careful.
Depends on if the room is too hot to sleep.
Cats say no, they will attack either way.
https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-072 taught me that it does in fact matter.
As a tall person I can confirm that covering dangling feet does in fact protect them from monsters
Y’all are hanging limbs over the edge of the bed?
You could be floating in mid air and as long as a sheet is around you you’re good.
The sad truth is the monsters are the people that you meet
There’s always a danger but if there’s no skin exposed the danger is greatly reduced. The monsters can’t stand physical contact with bedding so having fully wrapped limbs helps. However, and this is very rare, a monster might have become desensitized to bedding or be desperate enough to risk it anyway.
The safest practice is to tuck all your limbs in. Or y’know – keep your sheets and pillowcases and duvet covers on your bedroom floor. No monsters are going to risk that minefield.
Never allow limbs to hang over the bed. No feet either. Monsters galore.
doesn’t matter.
dogs lick you because they know there are bones inside.
No you have to curl all the way up on the bed
Yes, but you must condition the monster to fear you. To question you.
Everyone before us has sheltered their dogs from the jaws of under the bed monsters, so they’ll be perplexed, dare I say befuddled to see a human that doesn’t give in to their presence.
To put is simply, fuck those bitchass monsters bc them dirty hoes don’t pay your rent
What if I hang my ass over the edge of my bed?
This is the most I’ve ever seen people agreeing!
It depends on the kind of monster. If you’re worried about monsters under your bed, then you’ll want to keep all limbs on the bed under blankets. Alternatively, you can put your mattress directly on the floor. This stops monsters from reaching out from under the bed.
If you’re worried about closet monsters, I recommend closing and locking or barricading the closet door.
If you’re worried about monsters that invade while you sleep, insomnia can help you out.
It doesn’t. The second your limbs go off the bed, they are at risk of monster attack. The only sure way to stay away from the monsters is by keeping all limbs covered and safely on the bed.
All limbs must be covered!!!
It’s common knowledge that monsters can not penetrate bed sheets.
Extending your limb is a sign of trust and the way to foster a friendship with your monster. It gets lonely there.
There are few things more odd than the feeling of waking up to a cat nibbling on your fingers.
My feet (almost always exposed and hanging off the bed) constantly have scratches from my cute monsters. 🐱
We’re protected: We have a solid base bed frame. The monsters can’t hide there.
Covers on top don’t matter.
You can make a little “hammock” by tucking the sheet under your body and letting your arm or foot hang ever so slightly over the edge as long as it’s close and totally covered.
They can’t see that well and think it’s part of the bedding.
Any overhang is flirting with monsters and I occasionally have to live a little dangerously.
My husband had shoulder surgery and is a tall man so he needs most of the bed.
My little arm hammock hasn’t gotten me eaten yet.
Just get yourself a Teddy Bear or 3; they’ll keep you safe, and they accept payment in the form of Occasional Cuddles.
I always thought so, but I had a teddy bear to help protect me.
Lol, monsters. I am far more worried about the meteor that will come bend them backwards
Yeah, it does make a difference. If your arm or leg is dangling off the bed but you’ve got it covered up in a blanket, you’re fine. Monsters can’t reach you through blankets — that’s the rule. But if it’s exposed? That’s when they’ll take you.
So yeah, keep it covered just in case. Better safe than sorry, right? ????
Do you sleep like that very often?
Ive transcended this problem by having my bed directly on the floor. No frame for the monsters to move in under
In college I finally felt like it was safe to hang my arm over the side of the bed. My roommate, who was on the bottom bunk, grabbed it to scare me. It worked, and 20 years later I still can’t sleep with a limb hanging over the edge, it’s just too dangerous.
Well, nighttime is when the “screamers” (from the 90s sci fi horror movie of the same name) are active and hunting…so no the blankets, they do nos’sing!
Plus, can’t your standard monster rip through blankets (that isn’t properly ‘cocooned’, obviously)?
