People who have committed criminal offenses in the past, even minor and common ones no one usually cares about, should be really scared of AI. Especially people who politically oppose whomever is in control of that AI.

I think this is part of the reason a statute of limitations exists for many crimes. But overall I do agree

We talking about AI that still can’t get hands down?? lol I genuinely think I’ll be dead before AI actually ever does something meaningful.

    • You commited a crime on March 26st
    • No I didn’t
    • I apologize for the inconvenience I may have wrongly read my reports…

What AI got to do with that? Seriously? Posting information or a database about crimes has nothing to do with AI.

The cat is out of the bag as far as the tech goes, those ppl in the system that would come after you will be the MOST at risk in terms of fucked up embarrassing shit to hide lol.

Sure it’s about who has control over the data and systems etc, but even if the average person didn’t there will always be criminal organizations that can threaten politicians, judges, other public officials, etc.

Honestly I have no idea how the future will play out on this. I feel like once a few really powerful ppl get exposed that’s when we start seeing stronger privacy laws…Also the more AI generated data we keep pumping out mixing with the organic, and the better the tech gets you’ll probably have ppl claiming certain evidence is AI generated and can’t be proven. Which I also feel like culturally there’s going to be a lot of paranoia around that kind of thing. Idk man the future is about to be wild…

Nah! I committed all mine in the ICQ era. Well before the gvmnt started monitoring cloud based cameras.

Forget about being scared of the police; now we have to worry about robots judging our teenage mischief! Who knew my 3rd-grade pencil theft would come back to haunt me.

If the AI can find that information about somebody then I could find that information about them without AI likely with publicly available resources

We’re like chimpanzees 6 million years ago arguing over which troop is going to control the humans.

Different take, maybe you should just live your life and not spend your time in fear. In the end, almost everything you say and do will be forgotten when you die because the things we do are so unimportant. Worrying will make you die sooner anyway. Just learn to let thing go and you find true happiness in life. I answer almost everyone with the words “so, what does that change?” Because usually the answer is nothing.

Looks like the only thing scarier than a criminal record is an AI with a grudge! Better hope it doesn’t have your name saved in its ‘naughty list’!

I think all these “there was a lot of drug use in the 70s. Did you use drugs? ” questions are mining for AI.
Kinda like the old “40 things about you” questionnaires back in the days of MySpace and earlier Facebook. Al the questions were common security question answers.

There is a great big database somewhere collecting all this information on all of us.
