I’ve been thinking about this lately—seems like social media is taking a bigger and bigger role in our relationships, whether it’s friendships or romantic ones. I noticed that I started comparing my relationships to what I see online, and it’s been messing with my head a bit. It feels like people are more focused on the idea of their relationships instead of living in the moment. I’ve seen friends get upset over likes, comments, or not being tagged in posts, and it’s honestly kind of draining. Do you think social media is damaging real-life connections, or is it just me overthinking? How do you all handle this balance?

For sure… I know a friends gf who posts things about him and tags him in everything. He doesn’t have a single pic of her. She feels invalidated. He just doesn’t want to share his personal life
It only ruins relationships of you let it.
