Any advice for me for my self love journey?

r/

So I’m on a self love journey but every time I think I’m making progress I just end up back where I was, does anyone have any advice for me?

Just keep going, the fact that you even made little progress, it matters , don’t let overthinking define your life , try as many times as you need as different things as you need, I’m sure you will reach there eventually

Sometimes we just have to fight our own brain to get what’s necessary for us

Here is an example from my own life – my brain constantly resist listening to music, but i many times fight against it and listen to music and later i realise that if i won’t have pushed myself for it I won’t be enjoying this music..
    ….
So yeah, i guess the answer is that … Just go for it

this is tough love advice but, I recommend you break up with yourself, start seeing others, move on, you can do better than you

Just pick a few friends that know you and can judge you, no one else can judge as they don’t know your story

Self-love isn’t linear—it’s a spiral. You ‘circle back’ to old wounds, but each time with slightly more clarity and compassion. A few game-changers.

Well I did drugs in rave scene, but some are dodgy so if friends choose drugs over you, not good friends

Small progress is huge, trust yourself in those moments of “slipping back” and hold yourself with tenderness in those moments. Thsts where the progress happens. When you “slip up” thsts when you can and should love yourself most and not get angry with yourself, but have empathy. It’s a journey and there may never be a true “destination” as self love is a relationship like every other but the most important. Keep going, you’re doing beautifully. ❤️

We all interpret self-love differently… but if I were you I would draw a hot bath, light a candle, and play The Zennmen while cleansing myself like a samurai after battle.
