My dad SAed me when I was drunk. I’m pressing charges but I’m scared that he will continue to lie and say I “seduced” him. He kicked me out after I told my step mom and sister. I have screenshots of when he SAed me. Recently he messaged me asking me to let everything go.
What do I do?

Hello, I’m so sorry this happened to you and that you’re dealing with the stress of the legal process. Please continue to file a report and press charges. If he is your biological father it will be somewhat easier to get charges pressed due to !ncest. Do not interact with him in any way or a judge could throw it out (they use the excuse “you’re still in contact though”) No phone calls, messages, and no in person, no contact at all. Gather as much proof as you can, take screenshots of any messages you think are of importance (especially him asking you to not press charges/let it go etc. this shows coercion) Email EVERYTHING to yourself so you have backups.
