First episode and last season were kinda trash but the in-between…actually incredibly riveting. When a certain decision that was made actually had consequences, with no last minute deus ex machina, I was hooked. Think about the shock you felt when >!Ned Stark!< died on Game of Thrones and wasn’t saved just because he was one of the main characters. REALLY never expected such character and plot work from a CW show.
Season 7 does start to dip a little but it’s truly one of the great network dramas. I’d argue season 5 is one of the greatest seasons of television ever made.
Ted Lasso — I know people give season 3 a hard time, but the character development alone made the season a top one for me. Curious how the new season will pan out!
What we do in the Shadows. the format and comedy style is pretty blunt and niche at times. you can see the writers exhaustion and slightly confused plots bc of constant will they/won’t they cancel the next szn. amazing overall, queer, poly, latino and persian lead, amazing costuming and adaptation of a film. it was time. when they pull out a neanderthal/zombie, time to kill the turtle.
Justified. I’m currently on my 5th rewatch. It doesn’t get nearly the love of Breaking Bad, SOA, Better Call Saul but IMO, it’s superior to all of them.

Breaking Bad. But sitcoms like Office or Friends technically doesn’t end, because you can rewatch them over and over again.
Not shows; but documentaries.
