one time i was crying in a random bathroom stall and a stranger slid a pack of tissues under the door without saying anything. like she didn’t even try to see who i was, just left it and walked out. i still think about it.

Helped paid for a lady’s shopping when I worked as a cashier in a small supermarket. She was like 2 pound short, so gave her the money so she didn’t have to put anything back.

Once I was in middle school waiting for the bus in the rain. Pouring rain. I didn’t mind, the bus was on its way soon and I was in my emo phase so the rain added to the dramatic vibe I had going on. But a very very very kind woman drove up, insisted I keep her umbrella, and wished me luck and to stay safe. I think of her daily. I have the umbrella still. And staying dry actually began me feeling more positive about life. She was epic, I’m so lucky to have been around for my path to cross with hers. Shoutout umbrellas ☔️

once when i was in high school i accidentally slept past my stop and when i woke i panicked and got off at the next stop. a girl a few years older than me who also got off saw me looking lost and offered me a ride back home. we walked to her house where she deposited her school bag, grabbed her motorbike keys and rode me all the way home. thank you to whoever you are and i hope good things are still happening to you 🥰
