I see so many women on here asking how to “get rid of this” “how do I make myself more attractive?”. I understand wanting to look good for yourself and feeling better and all the mental health stuff that comes with it. I just want you to ask yourself before you post “is this really a question about me, or what society thinks/wants?”. It’s hard to unlearn all of this, but I think it’s a very important thing to ask ourselves. When we look in the mirror do we immediately see flaws?
This whole “hating ourselves” thing only divides us when we need to be focusing on other things.

I’m not critiquing or criticizing anyone.

this is something I’ve really been thinking about more and more lately. It’s like, certain things make me feel good and I’m like “I’m doing it for me” but really I feel like, society kinda tells us that this will make us feel good and I’m really just buying into some archaic things
