Computers have their limits like everything else, and can’t solve all problems in the world. In the late 90s/early 00s they seemed to be getting faster for a long time, but then they started to plateau.
The same goes for ChatGPT. It seems to have plateaued for now, but that might change in the future.

I mean, at a base level. But being able to automate or write a solution is amazing and something thats still super fun to do
I don’t know man… Probably because I still suck at it and have still so much to discover but I’ve been doing sh!t for 20 years now and always get mind blown by the little I manage to achieve…
I think it’s a common occurrence after someone builds their first pc, before you dream of all the cool games you’ll play and how good they’ll look. Then you build it and just sit there without the desire to play.
Nah as a programmer I disagree. The shit that I’m able to build as I get better is just cooler and cooler.
I feel the opposite. The more I know, the more and better projects I can do. Sometimes I wish the day had 30 hours lol. Actually I wish I didn’t like computers so much so I would spend more time outside.
Depends on what your usage of a computer would intend on being.
I’m a programmer and computers are beyond boring, yet there is a type of IT person that is super-hyped about technology to the point that it seems like a fetish. I don’t want smart devices in my residence, I don’t want to make an app or website for anyone, including myself, and I prefer to have a day a week completely away from everything,g like carrying my phone turned off whenever I go out.
